Jacob's Bio


Jacob Kraemer started acting at the age of 12, when he booked the supporting role of Andrew Smart in the CBS TV movie THE ELIZABETH SMART STORY, for which he was nominated for a Young Artist Award for best supporting performance in a TV movie or mini-series. From there Jacob began working as a regular on the Family/Disney series NATURALLY SADIE which earned him another Y.A.A nomination for best performance in a TV series. When Jacob booked the lead of the new Family series OVERRULED he was again nominated for a Y.A.A for best performance from a leading actor in a TV series. The series also won a Gemini for best children's or youth fiction program or series. Since finishing Overruled, Jacob has had various guest roles on UNNATURAL HISTORY (Cartoon Network), BEING ERICA (Global) and COMBAT HOSPITAL (Global/ABC). Jacob has also just recently finished filming the TMN feature film OLD STOCK.

Jacob's Classes


Jacob Kraemer & Lewis Baumander - Teen Classes
Time: TBA

These 6-week sessions are designed to create a training environment that is conducive to the way young people learn. The groups have a maximum of 10 students. The classes are age appropriate. Less talk more on-camera time since young people learn by doing not listening. Each student will get on camera twice per class.

Creative and challenging drills have been devised to be directly applicable to an audition or on set situation. They can practice these drills on their own during the week at home. The student will experience the results of hard work and application. Progress can be measured.

Cost: $316+HST/$380+HST, ACTRA $360+HST
